Josh Weiss is a seasoned publishing professional with extensive experience in editorial and digital publishing services. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at ABRAMS since October 2023, Weiss previously held various leadership roles at HarperCollins Publishers from July 1999 to July 2023, including VP of Managing Editorial/Digital Publishing Services and Executive Director of Publishing Operations. Weiss successfully managed teams to deliver thousands of print and digital titles annually while ensuring high-quality standards and overcoming significant operational challenges. Notable accomplishments include spearheading a metadata improvement project that boosted backlist sales, leading the integration of digital asset management systems, and establishing effective workflows that enhanced productivity and quality. Weiss began the publishing career at Dutton Children's Books and Morrow Junior Books, demonstrating a strong foundation in managing editorial processes, copy editing, and project planning. A graduate of Vassar College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Weiss brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the publishing industry.
