Alex Pope

Alex Pope is currently the Head of Private Markets Tax at Aberdeen, leading the tax strategy for the private markets and real estate team with expertise in private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and private credit. Previously, Alex held positions in various prestigious firms, including Assistant Director and Director at EY, Solicitor at Travers Smith, and had a tax secondment with Triton Partners. Alex began their career as a taxation committee assistant with the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association from 2013 to 2015. Alex earned an LLB in Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science and an LPC from BPP Law School, specializing in debt finance, equity finance, and commercial law.
