Andrew Laing

Andrew Laing began their investment career in private equity before advancing to corporate management at Aberdeen Asset Management, where they served as Deputy Chief Executive and Joint Head of Integration at Standard Life Aberdeen. They are currently the Non Executive Chairman at Artemis Fund Managers and previously held the position of Non Executive Director at Drum Income Plus REIT plc from 2019 to 2021. Laing also served as a Non Executive Director on the German Supervisory Board of Aberdeen from 2010 to 2017. They earned a Master of Arts in Politics and International Relations alongside a law degree from Aberdeen University and Robert Gordons College, completing their studies in 1977.
