Fergus McCarthy

Fergus McCarthy is a seasoned professional in the investment management and distribution sectors, currently serving as Head of UK Wholesale and UK Distribution Director at Aberdeen since July 2019. McCarthy also holds a membership with SalesTribe since October 2020. Previously, from July 2014 to June 2019, McCarthy was Head of UK & Ireland Intermediary Distribution at BNY Mellon, where responsibilities included formulating and executing distribution strategies for the UK and Ireland intermediary markets. Additional experience includes roles as Sales Director at Investec Asset Management, Sales Manager at Martin Currie, and various positions at AXA Investment Managers and Jupiter Group. McCarthy obtained a BA (Hons) in Economics from Nottingham Trent University, completing studies in 1996.
