Hester McClure

Hester McClure is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in internal audit and financial analysis. Currently serving as the Head of the CPO Office and previously as the Head of Operations for Internal Audit at abrdn since November 2016, Hester has managed a diverse range of audits across key operational functions. Prior to abrdn, Hester worked at RBS from August 2008 to July 2016, focusing on financial analysis and sector research within the Risk Function. Hester began a career in forensic services at PwC, where roles included Manager and Assistant Manager, accumulating valuable expertise in assurance. Hester holds a CA qualification from ICAS and a First Class BA Hons degree in Accounting from the University of Strathclyde.
