Matt Clark

Matt Clark is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in trading, primarily within fixed income and credit markets. Currently serving as a Senior Fixed Income and Senior Credit Trader at abrdn since June 2019, Matt has previously held positions as a Credit Trader at ANZ from April 2015 to December 2018, where trading focused on EM Asia Sovs/credit. Prior experience includes roles at Lloyds Banking TSB as a Credit Trader, where financial bonds were traded in a market-making capacity, and at Nomura International, specializing in Euro-denominated Fixed LT2 and Seniors. Matt began a career in trading at WestLB as the Head of Financials Trading after earlier roles as a Prop Trader at Shinsei Bank. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Ecology from Bangor University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Sunderland.
