Sam MacKenzie

Sam MacKenzie is currently the Head of Distribution Governance & Oversight at abrdn, where they lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Previously, Sam held several roles in the financial sector, including Operations Manager at Smith & Williamson and Corporate Actions Manager at Morgan Stanley, where they managed teams and improved processes. Sam began their career as a Portfolio Transfers Manager at Barclays Wealth and later served as a Private Bank Executive at Barclays. They hold a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from The University of Dundee and have also studied law at Leiden University.
