Sean Ong

Sean Ong is currently the Head of Investment Control for APAC at abrdn, where they oversee investment governance and implement strong trading controls. Previously, Sean served as Vice President of Accounting and Investment Compliance at BNY Mellon from 2008 to 2022. With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of London and a Master of Finance from RMIT University, Sean has developed a robust skill set in analytical skills, communication, finance, accounting, and compliance monitoring. They have a proven track record in serving institutional clients and leading strategic initiatives that drive transformation and operational efficiency in asset management.
