Simon Cowan

Simon Cowan has extensive experience in the asset management industry, having held various sales and managerial positions since 1999. Starting as a Sales Consultant at Isis Asset Management, Simon supported the discretionary sales team after a relocation to London. Subsequently, Simon served as Associate Director at Invesco Perpetual, where the focus was on distributing offshore mutual funds in various international markets. Following a role as Vice President of Third Party Distribution at Lazard Asset Management, Simon became the Regional Sales Manager at Old Mutual Asset Managers, distributing funds to wealth manager clients. After that, Simon was Fund Sales Director at Ignis Asset Management until its acquisition by Standard Life Investments. Currently, Simon is the Head of UK Wealth at Aberdeen, promoting the firm's fund range to wealth managers across the UK. Educational background includes a degree in Cultural History from the University of Aberdeen.
