Simone De Santis is currently the Chief Financial Officer for Biomethane Italy at abrdn, where they oversee the financial operations of Sorriso Holdco S.r.l., focusing on the conversion of biogas facilities to biomethane. Previously, they served as Finance Director - Corporate at NatPower, managing consolidated financial statements and corporate treasury. With a robust background in audit and financial services from KPMG, Simone worked as a Supervising Senior and later as a Manager in Financial Services. They began their academic journey at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, earning a Bachelor of Economics in Banking and Financial Support Services.
