Timothy McManus

Timothy McManus is the Head of Public Market Taxes at abrdn, where they lead the product and investment tax function for public market funds. They previously held the position of Senior Manager Investment Tax at First Sentier Investors, advising on asset management tax risk across various regions. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Tax Advisor at Credit Suisse and Tonarussa Consultants Limited. Timothy is actively involved as a committee member with both The Investment Association and the Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association. They hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from University College Dublin and are a Chartered Tax Adviser from the Irish Tax Institute.
