Peter Stephens

Peter Stephens has over 16 years of work experience in the IT field. Peter is currently the Head of IT Operations at Abri Group, where they have been since February 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Interim Head of IT Operations at the same company from August 2021 to February 2022. Before joining Abri Group, Peter was the IT Infrastructure Manager at the company from July 2020 to August 2021.

Before their time at Abri Group, Peter worked as an Infrastructure Team Leader at Radian Group Ltd from August 2017 to July 2020. Peter also served as a Technical Consultant at Simplyhealth from November 2016 to August 2017.

Peter began their career at Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service in October 2005 as an IT Technician. Peter supported over 1500 users across 55 sites, overseeing hardware, software, server, and network maintenance, support, and installation. Peter also had responsibilities in server commissioning and maintenance, SAN management, SQL administration, and mobile working throughout the brigade. Peter held this role until August 2011.

Throughout their career, Peter has gained extensive experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, and technical support.

Peter Stephens attended Southampton City College from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained an NVQ Level 2 degree in IT Practitioner. Following this, they pursued further education at the same institution from 2007 to 2008, earning an NVQ Level 3 degree in IT Professional. In addition to their formal education, Peter Stephens obtained several certifications. In December 2019, they became a Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate through Microsoft. Peter also holds a CMNO certification from Cisco Meraki, which they obtained in February 2019. Furthermore, Peter Stephens has an ITIL® 4 Foundation CPD certification, but the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are unavailable.
