David Edwards

David Edwards has over 15 years of work experience and their career began in the United States Marine Corps working as a Ground Communications Organizational Repairman. David later joined Indus Corp as an Enterprise Service Desk Team Lead, migrating new Air Force Bases into the AFNET, and then worked at Computer Sciences Corporation as an Information Security Analyst. Following this, they joined Enterprise Information Services as a Network Defense Analyst before moving to Harris Corporation as a Boundary Protection Suite Administrator. David then joined Synovus as an Information Security Engineer, where they performed Penetration Tests, Application Assessments, and managed vendor contracts regulatory standards for PCI. In their most recent role, they worked for Bishop Fox as a Senior Security Analyst, where they created and managed tooling to gather OSINT information on corporations to build a comprehensive list of externally facing assets, performed broad spectrum and targeted penetration testing engagements, and analyzed clients' attack surface information for opportunities to increase the efficiency of vulnerability identification and exploitation. David joined Abricto Security in 2023 as a Security Consultant.

David Edwards graduated with a Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems, General from Auburn University at Montgomery in 2015. Prior to this, they obtained an Advanced Diploma from Tallassee High School in 2004. David has received several certifications including the Palo Alto Accredited Configuration Engineer certificate from Palo Alto Networks in 2014, the Security+ certificate from CompTIA in 2010, the EC-Council Certified Security Analyst: Penetration Testing (ECSA) certificate from EC-Council in 2016, the Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) certificate from EC-Council in 2018, and the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certificate from EC-Council in 2015.
