Man Luo

Man Luo is a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Abridge, focusing on Natural Language Processing, particularly in open book question answering and open-domain retrieval within multimodal settings. Previously, they served as a Research Intern at Meta and Google, where they contributed to information retrieval systems and retrieval-augmented learning for large language models. They earned a PhD in Computer Science from Arizona State University, where they also worked as a Research Assistant, and held a Research Fellow position at Mayo Clinic, researching large language models for clinical applications. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Beijing Forestry University.
