Yan Yang

Yan Yang is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in leading data initiatives across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Data at Abridge since March 2024, Yan previously held the role of Chief Data Scientist at Deserve, where responsibilities included driving analytics adoption and architecting a real-time machine learning platform for credit underwriting. Prior experience includes positions as Lead Member of Technical Staff at Salesforce, Senior Software Engineer at Wealthfront Inc., Data Engineer at Microsoft, and IT Specialist at IBM. Yan holds a Ph.D. in Computational and Mathematical Engineering from Stanford University and a B. Eng in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
