Trent Olson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in genetic services training and economic consulting within the dairy industry. Currently serving as the North America Genetic Services Trainer at ABS Global since July 2005, Trent is dedicated to developing comprehensive genetic training programs that enhance dairy economics. Previously, Trent held the position of Cornerstone Supervisor and Economics Consultant, overseeing U.S. Progeny Testing programs and contributing to business development and financial analysis for dairy operations. In addition to these roles, Trent is a Dairy Cattle Judging Coach and Commodity Marketing Instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where focus areas include grain and dairy marketing and consumer preference impacts on dairy pricing. As a self-employed dairy and grain farmer since 2001, Trent combines practical farming experience with academic knowledge acquired through a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences and Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota.
