Cy Sharp

Cy Sharp is an experienced professional in the fields of sustainability, health, safety, security, and environmental quality (HSSEQ) management. Currently serving as the Director of Accreditation and Certification at ABS Group since May 2016, Cy Sharp manages global sustainability programs, certification, and business assurance services in accordance with ISO standards. Additionally, Cy Sharp holds the position of Director HSSE at Cobalt International Energy, focusing on developing HSSEQ criteria for Gulf of Mexico and West Africa projects. Previously, Cy Sharp was the VP and Chief HSSEQ Officer at MODEC International Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing HSEQ management systems and training programs across various regions. Cy Sharp obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from The University of Southern Mississippi between 1982 and 1986.
