James Thompson

James Thompson, CPSA, has extensive experience in process safety management, currently serving as a Process Safety Consultant and PSM Manager at ABS Group since January 2012, where responsibilities include managing a team of PSM practitioners and providing services to clients. Prior to this role, James held the position of Senior Process Safety Consultant at ABS Consulting and served as PSM Coordinator at both INVISTA and DuPont, where significant contributions included developing and maturing site PSM programs and leading corporate safety networks. James earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin from 1969 to 1974.
