Jacob Stern

Jacob Stern is a Senior AI Scientist at Absci since March 2023, having previously held positions as AI Scientist II and AI Scientist I within the same company. Jacob has experience as a Deep Learning Consultant at Enveda Biosciences, where custom deep learning architecture for metabolomics data was designed and built using the Huggingface Transformers library. Prior positions include an internship at NVIDIA focusing on performance analysis for neural network kernels in the MXNet framework, and a machine learning and speech recognition internship at CaptionCall. Jacob also served as a Field Guide at Aspiro Wilderness Adventure Therapy, leading youth on wilderness expeditions. Education includes a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Brigham Young University.
