Mario Sanches is an accomplished professional in the fields of business development and drug discovery, currently serving as the Director of Business Development and Director of Alliance Management at Absci since June 2022. In this role, Mario has successfully managed a portfolio of AI drug discovery initiatives, advancing partnerships and leading projects from initial scoping to long-term strategic health. Previously, Mario held the position of Principal Scientist at Zymeworks Inc., where expertise in drug development and alliance management was demonstrated by fostering collaborations with global pharmaceutical partners and advancing in-licensing deals.
