Randall Mathieu has a strong and extensive work experience in mechanical engineering. Randall began their career in 1987 as a Van Driver, Dispatcher, Trainer, and Bus Driver at UMASS Transit PVTA. In 1995, they worked as a Co-Op in the Advanced Development Lab at Intel Corporation. Randall then joined NEC America Inc. as a Mechanical Engineer from 1995 to 1998.
In 1998, Mathieu moved to ASIRobicon, where they worked as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer until 2004. Their responsibilities included electronics packaging, thermal and mechanical analysis, product development, testing, and support of motor drives.
From 2004 to 2022, Mathieu worked at Bose as a Principal Mechanical Engineer. Randall was involved in new product development, advanced development, and research of audio and non-audio products. Randall contributed to mechanical design, thermal analysis, and electronics packaging of various systems, including linear motor systems, in-ear devices, and consumer electronics.
In 2022, Mathieu joined Starry, Inc. as a Principal Mechanical Engineer, where they worked on product development for a new outdoor RF transceiver base station. Their responsibilities included mechanical design of PCB and enclosure.
Most recently, in 2023, Mathieu started working at Abside Networks, Inc. as a Principal Mechanical Engineer.
Randall Mathieu obtained their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) from the University of Pittsburgh, from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Portland State University between 1992 and 1995. Lastly, they attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1987 to 1991, although no degree or field of study information is available for this period.
