Bapi Mandal

Bapi Mandal is a Senior Scientist at Absolute, specializing in synthetic biology and metabolic engineering. They have extensive experience as a postdoctoral researcher at institutions such as the University of Delaware and Northwestern University, as well as a research fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. With expertise in molecular cloning, fermentation technology, and CRISPR-Cas9, Bapi has contributed to various research roles since their early career as a Research Fellow at Agharkar Research Institute in India. They hold a PhD in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, as well as degrees from UCL and Högskolan i Borås.
