Rohit Shivram has a vast work experience in the software engineering field. Rohit started their career in 1995 as a Project Leader and Applications Engineer at Oracle, where they worked for three years before being promoted to the role of Sr. Development Manager. In this role, they extensively worked on the Oracle Shipping applications and played a crucial role in implementing a complete re-design of the product and database schema.
In 2001, Rohit became a Group Manager at Oracle, where they managed the Engineering Development of three Oracle Logistics Applications and Quality Assurance for the Logistics Suite of Oracle e-Business Suite. Rohit was responsible for a team of over 30 people located in the US and India.
In 2007, Rohit joined CA Technologies as the Director of Engineering for Financial Management Applications. Rohit later became the Director of Software Engineering, leading multiple software engineering teams building platform components and application capabilities for a product with over 1000 customers and 2 million users. Rohit initiated significant product transformations by implementing best SDLC practices scaled across a team of over 100 people.
In 2019, Rohit joined RingCentral as the Director of Engineering, where they worked until 2023. Rohit held various roles during their tenure, including Sr. Director of Engineering.
Currently, they are the Vice President of Software Engineering at Absorb Software, starting in June 2023.
Rohit Shivram completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University from 1989 to 1993. Rohit then pursued their Master's degree in Computer Science at Stanford University from 1993 to 1995.
