abstract builds practical software products that make BIM data and project information usable, reliable, and auditable.

Our tools focus on the parts of technical workflows that usually break:
data quality, requirements clarity, and the ability to review change and its impact.

Our products:

AbstractBIM
Converts IFC files into clean, consistent data for simulations, quantity takeoff, and automated analysis — reducing manual cleanup and rework.

PragmaticBIM
A lightweight BIM Requirement Manager to define modeling rules, attributes, and guidelines in a structured, accessible way — making requirements explicit and manageable.

iterthink (beta)
A data-driven review layer for documents and project artifacts.
See every change, understand its impact, and build a growing audit trail — applying the same rigor to documents that BIM demands from models.

Across all products, abstract focuses on data cleanup, structure, and traceability — so information can support automation, analysis, and informed decisions instead of manual fixes.
