Matthew Knowles

Matthew Knowles is a Health Economics Senior Analyst at Abt Global, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Vanderbilt University from August 2017 to July 2022. Experience also includes working as a Visiting Researcher at CIAT, where a project focused on traditional food markets and business inclusivity was analyzed, and field data was collected regarding improved seed varieties. As a Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Denver, Matthew assisted with research under Dr. Daniel Rees. Additional roles include Editor in Chief of The Colgate Maroon-News at Colgate University and internships focusing on research in economic policies and agricultural input schemes. Matthew holds a PhD and MA in Economics from Vanderbilt University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Development Studies from Colgate University.
