Established in 2013, by Owner and Director, Keomi "Keo" Tarver, AbunDANCE with Keomi® is a Brooklyn, NY based organization using dance, movement, and other mediums to ignite creativity, tap into divine connection, and live abundantly. Through fun and socially engaging in-person and online classes; Twerkout, AbunDANT Fitness, and Intro to Hip Hop, fun and self-awareness building workshops like our Spring and Summer Flings, and residencies nationwide, AbunDANCE with Keomi offers its clients and community an opportunity to cultivate creativity, gain self-awareness, and a healthier lifestyle.

Our Mission:

Rooted in empowerment and gratitude, AbunDANCE with Keomi® is dedicated to holding space for authenticity, outrageousness, and joy. Creating spaces where all bodies and journeys are welcomed, honored, and celebrated. Our mission is to serve as a reminder of one’s value and humanity, exploring our inner and outer beauty, and divine worth. We equip the community with the tools and resources to activate their personal AbunDANCE, unapologetically.

Keo uses movement, facilitation, workshops, and various art forms to encourage her community to heal, create, live, and love abundantly. She is known for her strong and unapologetic movements, her transparency, and her smile. Her purpose is to use her gift to remind others how valuable and beautiful they are.

San Diego native, and Brooklyn transplant, Keo is a dancer, writer, lover, teacher, and friend. At the age of 12, she began training in Modern, West African, Hip Hop, and Interpretive Dance. Throughout the last decade, she has performed on stages for more than 20,000 people, has celebrity clients, and has delivered over 100 workshops across the country. Keo has showcased her work on various stages and respected institutions including San Diego State University, Yale University, and the Brooklyn Museum of Art.
