Franco Miceli

Franco Miceli has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2008, they worked as a Commercial Assistant at Isbel S.A., where they developed telecommunications and networking solutions for clients and worked on expanding the company's market share. From 2009 to 2013, they joined Plan Ceibal as an Engineer, focusing on R&D of telecommunications solutions and optimizing network usage for end users. Franco then took on the role of R&D Projects Coordinator at Plan Ceibal from 2013 to 2014, where they coordinated projects and collaborations with universities and foreign organizations. Miceli subsequently became the Head of Research, Development, and Innovation at Plan Ceibal from 2014 to 2015, leading the department and driving new technology development and acquisition. In 2015, they founded ABYA, a company dedicated to providing the best remote gaming experience. Miceli served as the Co-Founder and CEO of ABYA, leading the development of remote graphics solutions for the gaming industry until unknown. Lastly, from 2017 to 2021, they worked as a Product Development Consultant at #numeral.

Franco Miceli completed their education at various institutions. From 2003 to 2009, they attended Universidad de la República, where they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering. Throughout this period, their field of study focused on Telecommunications/Networking, Communication Systems, and Signal Processing. Additionally, in 2004, they briefly attended the University of Cambridge to obtain Proficiency in English.
