Steve Rowe

Steve Rowe has extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as Scientist II at Abzena since June 2015. In this role, Steve has led upstream process development, managing a team to execute bioprocesses and optimize titers through experimental design. Prior to this, Steve held various positions at Abzena, including Scientist I and Lead SMT/PD Associate, with responsibilities encompassing aseptic processes and procedure documentation in compliance with GMP guidelines. Experience includes roles at Neurocrine Biosciences as a Research Associate, Halozyme Therapeutics as a Contractor, and earlier positions as a Sales Representative and Instructional Lab Technician. Steve's career began at UC San Diego as a Staff Research Associate, following a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the same institution.
