Stig Baker

Stig Baker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing and process development. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer in Upstream MSAT at Abzena since August 2019, Stig specializes in tech transfer documentation, manufacturing planning, and real-time data analysis using SCADA systems. Prior roles at Abzena include leading GMP upstream operations and piloting large-scale bioreactor runs. Earlier experience includes work as a Manufacturing Associate at BioPhase, where Stig contributed to continuous perfusion runs, and as a Laboratory and Anesthetic Technician at the Governor Animal Clinic. Stig holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from San Diego State University, where significant research contributions were made in chemistry and biochemistry.
