Anna Briggs

Anna Briggs has a diverse and extensive work experience. Anna has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. Their most recent position was as the Project Development Director at ACEN, where they began in January 2023. Prior to that, they were a Volunteer Assessor and Panel Member at Surrey Young People's Fund, administered by The Community Foundation for Surrey, starting in November 2017. Anna also worked as the Executive Vice President and Minority Investor at Bronzeoak Philippines Inc from June 2007. In 2011, they founded their own company, Briggs Energy Consulting Ltd, where they served as the Director. Anna has also worked as a Consultant at Thomas Lloyd Capital from March 2011 to September 2015, and at Mycologix Ltd from August 2010 to January 2013. Anna's earlier roles include being the Group Commercial Manager at Bronzeoak Ltd from February 2004 to June 2007, a Director at ATB International Ltd from 2002 to February 2004, and a Director at Enron Europe Ltd from 1991 to 2001. Anna also worked as a Director at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in 1996 and handled various responsibilities in energy and utilities corporate banking division.

Anna Briggs attended Clifton High School from 1976 to 1985. Anna then went on to study Management Science at the University of Warwick from 1985 to 1988, earning a BSc degree. In 1993, they briefly attended the London Business School for the Corporate Finance Evening Programme.
