Christopher R.

Christopher R. has extensive work experience in finance and auditing. Christopher currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at AC Immune since January 2024, after serving as Vice President Finance and Interim CFO from April 2022 to January 2024. In their role as Associate Vice President (AVP) - Finance at AC Immune from September 2019 to April 2022, Christopher led the finance team, managed accounting operations, conducted financial analysis, supported strategic finance initiatives, and implemented SAPbyDesign.

Prior to joining AC Immune, Christopher worked at EY for over a decade. Christopher started as an Assurance Senior in January 2009 and progressed to Manager in September 2013. From November 2015 to August 2019, Christopher assumed the role of Senior Manager, leading audits of life sciences and technology companies. Christopher managed multinational teams, provided technical accounting advice, facilitated training, and implemented digital transformation solutions. During their time at EY, Christopher achieved exceptional client feedback, managed budgets, and drove profitability efforts.

Christopher R. completed their Chartered Accountant degree in Accounting and Finance from ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a BSc Hons degree in Accounting, Auditing, and Finance from Lancaster University from 2007 to 2011. Christopher completed their A-Levels in Maths, Physics, Economics, and Further Maths from Malbank Sixth Form between 2005 and 2007. Christopher also achieved their GCSE with 10 A*-C grades from Malbank School from 2003 to 2005. In 2013, they obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs.
