Andy Metz

Andy Metz has a varied work experience in the field of transportation and planning. Andy started as a Music Director at Camp Nor'wester in 2005 before transitioning to roles such as GIS Consultant at Active Transportation Alliance and Transportation Intern at Sam Schwartz Engineering. Andy then moved on to roles in bus scheduling and planning at the Chicago Transit Authority, followed by a position as a Senior Planner at Parsons Corporation. Andy later joined Remix as a Scheduling Implementation Manager before moving to Swiftly, Inc., where they held roles such as Principal Planning Strategist, Manager of Customer Success, and Director of Customer Success. Currently, they serve as Principal Planner - Regional Plans at AC Transit, showcasing their expertise and experience in transit planning and customer success.

Andy Metz completed a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Creative Writing from DePaul University in 2007. Andy then went on to earn a Master in Urban Planning and Policy with a focus on Transportation Planning from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2010.
