Robert Baker, JD, CFA, is currently the Managing Director and Co-Lead of the Mock Examination Team at ACA Group. Previously, they served as an Assistant Director at the US Securities and Exchange Commission from 2007 to 2024, where they made significant contributions to the Division of Examinations and received multiple awards for their exemplary service, including the Douglas Adams Award and the Chair’s Award for Investor Protection. Baker holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA in Political Science from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, graduating with honors. They also completed a Certificate in Advanced Studies in Financial Planning at Bentley University and pursued studies at the CFA Institute.
