Larry Gioia serves as the Emerging Technology R&D Lead at PwC's Innovation Hub and also holds the position of Director for Product Strategy, Transformation, and Innovation, leveraging significant expertise in business strategy, technology solutions, risk management, and strategic data analysis to address the needs of private company leaders. Additionally, Larry has been instrumental in guiding infrastructure strategy for a new Fortune-500 pharmaceutical company. Beyond their corporate roles, Larry founded Dynamic Paddlers, which specializes in teaching kayaking to individuals of all abilities, and co-founded the Pittsburgh Adaptive Sports Network to foster adaptive sports in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Larry's background also includes various leadership roles with organizations such as the American Canoe Association and True North Outdoor School, coupled with foundational experience as a co-founder and strategic advisor in earlier ventures. Larry holds a Master's degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Gannon University.
