Jim Porterfield

Jim Porterfield is the CEO and Co-Owner of Acadaware. Jim has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Jim began their career as a PT at Therapy Specialists in June 2000. In June 2005, they became the owner of Rehabilitation and Health Center, Inc. In December 2017, they sold the company and co-founded Acadaware with their son.

Jim Porterfield studied physical therapy at the Mayo Clinic Foundation, earning their master's degree. Jim then went on to study exercise physiology at Kent State University, where they earned their bachelor's degree in applied science. Finally, they attended St. Clairsville High School in Ohio, graduating in 1968.
