The Academic Design Centre has been operating from 2014 in Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts Łódź. It was created to integrate design faculties of all state art academies, stimulate their development, innovate didactic processes, and strengthen cooperation with similar entities in Europe and in the world. The main task of the institution is to promote national design schools and create an image of Polish design by creating a platform combining scientific, educational and instrumental potential and enhancing the competitiveness and attractiveness of studies in the field of design in state art schools.
