Head of Leadership & Performance Programmes at Academy

Katie Davis has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Katie is currently working at Academy as the Head of Leadership & Performance Programmes. In this role, they have recruited, trained, and placed over 100 junior developers from diverse backgrounds, with a significant number of them being promoted within a year. Katie has also designed and implemented progressive programs to promote diversity and inclusivity in the tech industry.

Before joining Academy, Katie worked at Thinky as a Personal Development Coach, where they helped individuals in their personal growth and development.

Prior to that, they worked at Multiverse as a Programme Lead, where they played a vital role in scaling teams and program delivery to provide access to leadership and tech education. Katie successfully built and expanded trailblazer programs and coached numerous middle and senior tech managers in global corporations.

Katie has also worked as a Curriculum Specialist at Mrs Wordsmith, Manager & Literacy Curriculum Lead at Gipsy Hill Federation, and as the Head of School and Teacher Training Coach at the International British School of Alexandria.

Their work experience also includes being a Primary School Teacher at the International School of Moscow.

Throughout their career, Katie has shown a strong commitment to learning and development, fostering diversity and inclusion, and driving the success of their teams and programs.

Katie Davis started their education in 2008, attending The University of Sheffield. During their time there, from 2008 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and Russian. Following this, in 2013 to 2014, Katie attended The University of Buckingham, where they obtained a PGCE in Primary education. Later, in 2018, they enrolled at NLP School (ICF Accredited) for a brief period of time, completing a Practitioner course in Coaching, Mindfulness, and Transactional Analysis.
