Acadia Benefits is a Maine-based firm, proud to be locally owned since our inception in 1990. We specialize in employee benefits, providing brokerage and consulting services to our customers throughout New England. For the past 31 years, we have been independently owned and operated.

Our Acadia Benefits team brings a broad perspective of the benefits field to our customers. Our 19 responsive and experienced benefits specialists serve our several hundred customers, ranging in size from small employers to our largest customer with over 15,000 employees. We help HR staff navigate the intricacies of benefit plans through our ongoing support and guidance. Personalized, long-term relationships are the cornerstone of our business and we are dedicated to customizing our services to meet each customer’s needs. 

In addition to our local presence, Acadia Benefits has the resources of a national firm. We are a founding member of United Benefit Advisors (UBA), a group of 125 independent firms like ours that share best practices and collaborate to develop benefit tools and technology. For the past 15 years we have led this national partner-owned organization bringing together the expertise and services of the country's most respected independent employee benefit firms. Acadia Benefits is the only UBA firm in Maine.
