Michael Baird

Michael Baird is an experienced Agile Developer at Envisage Technologies LLC since March 2021, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Virginia from April 2017 to February 2021, where responsibilities included leading the 3-Flavor analysis group for the NOvA experiment and overseeing the Reconstruction and Deep-Learning group. Prior to this, Michael held a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the University of Sussex from September 2015 to March 2017, focusing on simulating the Data-Acquisition system for the DUNE experiment. Michael's early career included teaching Physics and mathematics at Randolph-Macon Academy and working as a Textbook Clerk at TIS Bookstore. Academic credentials include a PhD and MS in Physics from Indiana University Bloomington, along with a Master's degree in Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Grove City College.
