Sumit Katara

Sumit Katara is a skilled technical professional with experience in software development and engineering. Currently a Member of Technical Staff at Acalvio Technologies since April 2020, Sumit previously worked as a Software Developer at Cisco from August 2016 to March 2020, focusing on the development of Cisco Fabric Interconnects for managing servers within Unified Computing System data centers. During this tenure, Sumit contributed to the Cisco UCS 6300 series Fabric Interconnect, built on the Trident-2 Broadcom ASIC. Additionally, Sumit gained initial training experience at Success Ladder Technologies in late 2014. Sumit holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, earned between 2012 and 2016.
