Thera Engels

Thera Engels is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as Chief People Officer at ACAPS since September 2025. Prior to this role, Thera held the same title at Tiko from November 2019 to September 2025, and gained extensive experience at Holmen Iggesund, where Thera served as HR and Business Support Manager and HR Coordinator between November 2015 and November 2019. Thera's career in HR began at Zorgbelang Noord-Holland from 2006 to July 2015, where responsibilities included HR Advisor and other roles. Additional experience includes serving as Regiocoördinator at Zorg verandert and working in various capacities during the study period at JMW. Thera holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Amsterdam and has completed post-bachelor studies in personnel management at NCOI, along with other academic pursuits.
