Thomas Roach

Thomas Roach has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Thomas currently holds the position of Commercial Strategy Director (UK) at Acast since March 2023, where they are responsible for strategic planning and execution. Prior to this role, they served as the Strategy & Creative Lead (AUNZ) at Acast from September 2020 to March 2023.

Before joining Acast, Thomas worked at Southern Cross Austereo as a Strategy and Insights Manager, leading strategic execution for the Sydney sales team and providing revenue generation initiatives. Thomas also served as a Client Strategist at the same company, where they informed sales and creative teams on new business opportunities and presented advertising solutions to clients.

Thomas has also gained experience at Spark Foundry, where they worked as a Strategist and provided strategic advice to clients on achieving desired business outcomes through marketing. Thomas played a key role in the Spark innovation division and was involved in various responsibilities including research, insights delivery, workshop facilitation, and new business pitch team membership.

Additionally, Thomas completed a Legal Intern placement at Network Ten, where they worked across teams in commercial law and litigation. Thomas'sresponsibilities included legal research and advice, contract review, and drafting partnership agreements.

Thomas Roach attended Barker College for high school. Thomas then went on to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Media at Macquarie University from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in Postgraduate Law at the University of Technology Sydney. In 2017, they obtained a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia.
