Jackie Carson currently serves as the Senior Associate Commissioner for Women’s Basketball at the Atlantic Coast Conference, a position held since June 2023, with over 20 years of experience in women's basketball. Carson is a distinguished figure with a 13-year tenure as Head Coach at Furman University and five years coaching at James Madison University, where their accomplishments include being named both conference coach and player of the year, leading to a Hall of Fame induction and the retirement of their #22 jersey at Furman. Additionally, Carson is an Advisory Board Member at BREAKTHRU Brands, a women-owned agency focused on advancing equitable leadership representation. Carson holds a Bachelor of Science in Health & Exercise Science/Pre-Med from Furman University.
