Katherine Van Breene is an experienced nursing professional with a background in public health and nursing. Katherine currently works as an intern at Athens Community since May 2020 and has previously served as a Registered Nurse in the CVICU at Piedmont from February 2022 to June 2023. Educationally, Katherine holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Augusta University College of Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from The University of Georgia. In addition to clinical experience, Katherine has held leadership roles, including Vice President of the Gamma Pi Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, and has completed internships with Pure Marketing Group and Athens Community. Early experience includes a position as an Art Camp Counselor with the City of Alpharetta.
