Alison Hill

Alison Hill is a principal lawyer at the ACCC, specializing in the Mergers, Exemptions, and Digital Law Unit. They previously served as a senior lawyer and assistant director at the same agency. Alison's earlier experience includes working as a legal advisor at the Competition and Markets Authority and as an associate to the Hon. Justice Cavanough at the Supreme Court of Victoria. They began their legal career as a solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills, following their studies at the University of Melbourne, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Law (Hons) and a Bachelor's Degree in Arts, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Global Competition and Consumer Law.
