Alison Sheehan

Alison Sheehan is the Director of Infrastructure at the ACCC, where they lead the electricity-specific competition and consumer compliance program. Their team monitors compliance with market conduct rules and provides insights on price outcomes for consumers. Alison has extensive experience in economic regulation, having worked on telecommunications infrastructure, the Gas Inquiry, and as a competition lead in the international unit. Prior to joining the ACCC, Alison practiced as a solicitor, focusing on civil and criminal matters, and holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the University of Technology Sydney.
