Asa Tan

Asa Tan is the Director of Merger Investigations at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), where they oversee key regulatory functions. Asa previously held positions as Assistant Director and Director within the same department. Prior to joining ACCC, they served as a Senior Associate and Solicitor specializing in Competition at Herbert Smith Freehills, and as a Graduate Lawyer and Lawyer at Corrs Chambers Westgarth. Asa began their career as a Tax Consultant at PwC and holds dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Commerce and Law from UNSW Australia, along with completing an exchange year in Law at The University of Edinburgh.
