Chris O'Yang

Chris O'Yang is an Australian lawyer currently serving as the Director of the Consumer and Fair Trading Division and the Sustainability Taskforce at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). Chris has extensive experience in competition, consumer, and regulatory law, having previously held roles such as Assistant Director in various branches at ACCC and Legal Counsel during a secondment at National Australia Bank. Chris's legal career began as a Seasonal Clerk at Cornwall Stodart and Ashurst, followed by a Vacation Clerkship at Allens. Chris holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy and Politics from Monash University, along with a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The Australian National University.
