Georgia MacKenzie is the Director (a/g) of Digital Platforms at the ACCC, having transitioned into this role after serving as the Assistant Director in the Digital Platforms Branch. Previously, Georgia acted as the Manager for Court System Policy at the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria, and held various positions in legal advisory roles, including as a Solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons. With a solid foundation in law, Georgia also completed internships and clerkships at prestigious firms and government departments, and holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) along with a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. Georgia participated in the Observership Program at PANDA, enhancing their governance knowledge and skills in the nonprofit sector.
