Liam Brough has diverse professional experience, beginning as an Administration Officer for the Queensland Government from May 2014 to July 2015, followed by research roles as a Research Intern at Queensland Parliamentary Library and RWI – Leibniz Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung in 2016 and 2017, respectively. Liam has held several positions at PwC Australia, serving as an Associate and later as a Senior Associate in the Economics and Policy division, before becoming a Manager in Strategy and Economics. Currently, Liam is a Senior Analyst in the Infrastructure Division (Insurance Monitoring and Financial Services) at the ACCC since February 2025 and recently took on the role of Associate Director at Create Advisory from September 2023 to July 2024. Liam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Finance from Griffith University, a German Language and Cultural Studies degree from the University of Duisburg-Essen, and is pursuing a Master of Economics at The University of Queensland (2024-2025).
